Wellingborough business owners are being called upon to participate in the next Real Options for Skills and Employment (ROSE) Careers Fair.
The previously successful event will take place at Villa Road Job Centre on Wednesday, September, 16.
The fair will focus on filling temporary roles for the Christmas period within warehouses and retain outlets, but permanent vacancies will also be advertised.
Alison Kelly, from The Mallows Company who co-ordinates the event, said: “Job Centre Plus do all we can to encourage those on Job Seekers Allowance and other benefits to come along.”
Employers, who have previously participated include BCC Marketing, Weatherby’s, Greencore, Delos and Wicksteed Park.
Kelly said: “All those companies were impressed with the enthusiasm of the jobseekers. Many have since reported interviews and job placements being confirmed with the attendees.”
Space is limited so employers who would like a stand are being encouraged to register interest as soon as possible.
Confirmed stand holders must be registered by September 8.
The ROSE Careers Fair will run from 10am – 1pm, with a Universal Credit Awareness Presentation taking place at 9am, leaving time after that to set up.
If you are unable to attend vacancies and recruitment agencies may still be able to display their vacancies. The event is free to participants and jobseekers.
